Default Anyone using Office Communicator 2007?

I am not a BES Admin, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn.

Today we finally got OCS 2007 working on the BlackBerry. Almost. We have one (of 15) BES running the Collaboration service, and a CWA server up and running. Multiple digital certificates purchase (out of my cost center, thank you very much).

Several devices have load the client and are up and running - LOVE IT. Thankfully mine works.

But my bosses BB will not log in. We are on the same BES (different Exchange server) and when he starts the Enterprise Messenger client, he gets the messages "Service Not Enabled for this handheld". This is happening for a small number of people.

We see this with clients on other BES which don't have the Collaboration Service set up yet.

Anyone got any guidance?

Thanks!

Can your boss login to CWA? Sounds like OCS isn't enabled for his/her account ... which has to be done through ADU&C or through some ADSI manipulatative script / command that an AD / Exchange admin would do.

OCS is enabled; he has a valid SIP address and can use OCS from his PC. Just not on the BB.

Does he have version 2.1 of the client?
Can he login to CWA?
Have the BES Admins check out the BBIM log for login / auth errors.

CWA has been "hidden" for the time being.
The BES Admins are checking the BBIM logs now. Odd that it works for all of the beta group except two guys.
Everyone is running the latest 2.1.15 code (except for the lone Storm user who has 2.2).

hdawg's on the money. We're using it here, and CWA authentication is a useful test for BB users that are having login issues from the client.

Is it possible to unhide CWA for your boss?

The plot thickens. I was able to sign in to my bosses OCS from my BB. I also unhid CWA and will have him test.

I'm still trying to figure out this statement....

As far as your problem, we have ocs working on the BB's but I don't run multiple exchange servers and I'd assume it's some issue with that.
Unless the cwa isn't correctly talking to that exchange.

The first line is a joke referring to an old television commercial.

We resent service books to the handful of devices that weren't working and for the most part it has worked. Still one device is a not working properly. My bosses
