BES X + E-Mail Reconciliation
I finally broke down and installed a BES X in my organization. Everything is great other than the lack of social networking integration policys in the new build.

My issue is with e-mail reconciliation. Ever since syncing my bb 9700 to the BES Gmail reconciliation has stopped functioning. It used to be if I marked a message as read in Gmail it would be marked as read on my berry, does not seem to be the case anymore.

The same seems to happen with my Exchange account. Marking messages as read in Outlook does not update that on my BB.

Is there something I am missing?

The two are unrelated. Gmail 2 way sync can take up to 6 hours. Exchange read/unread is usually no more more than 15 minutes (rescan mailbox interval).

You likely need to look at the BES logs to see what is happening. If you just downloaded your BES Express, you might as well use the free support case as it is only good for like 60 days after download.

On your device, check that wireless reconcile is setup for both accounts in Messages, Options, Email Reconcilliation. You can switch between all your email accounts in there.

BlackBerry server support
did you do the manual email reconcilation from the handheld.
Email reconcilation interval depend on users mailbox size ,amount of updates on user mailbox per minuts, server performance.if you want to update the read unread status ASAP you have to do manual reconcilation.you couldnt change the default synch time in BB server.
other think is ,how about when you read a message from BB handheld to outlook?is it working perfectly?
and in your outlook profile ,untik the cahed mode and check the reconcilation process.
