Default Email Address or Password may be incorrect

One of my users switched their blackberry and asked me to send them a new activation password. I did that but they keep getting "Email address or password may be incorrect" I've tried deleting that account from BES and then re-adding it but that hasnt helped either. If I add a new account that didnt have a BES before and try to activate that on his new device, it works!

So my guess is that there is some BES data associated with his Exchange account that is not being deleted/overwritten. Any ideas on how to clean it up? Deleting the mailbox on the Exchange Server and recreating it is not an option

Ok- so If I delete and recreate the user and and BESAdmin directly in Exchange to the "Send As", I at least get the BES to recognize the PIN and get the "Waiting for Services" message immediately followed by the "Email address/Password incorrct"

There's gotta be something in the Exchange Mailbox setting for BES that I could possibly clear out and try again

You can delete the user and mark it to remove the mailbox information. This will take a few seconds to purge completely. For good measure on the mailbox information, I would wait a minute or two. You can then wipe the device and reactivate it from scratch.

Based on the error above, though, I wouldn't say it's anything to do with the mailbox or BES. It seems like something simply isn't being typed in correctly... but then again, it should never even get to the 'Waiting for Services' portion with a spelling mistake.

Hi if I am not on a internet proxy server can I still get and send emails thanks Bell wants me to pay over 100.00 if I get it. they got my email and pass word and set me a temp one for the 7th of Aug 2012
