You can delete the user and mark it to remove the mailbox information. This will take a few seconds to purge completely. For good measure on the mailbox information, I would wait a minute or two. You can then wipe the device and reactivate it from scratch.
Based on the error above, though, I wouldn't say it's anything to do with the mailbox or BES. It seems like something simply isn't being typed in correctly... but then again, it should never even get to the 'Waiting for Services' portion with a spelling mistake.
