Default Calendar not syncing from BB device

I have read the forums and seen the posts about the mapi, and cdo files, as well as permissions. I can not figure this one out.

BES 5 sr 3
BB tour - Sprint
Outlook 2007

The calendar will update from Outlook fine. All contacts, mail, notes, tasks work both ways.

When I create an appointment in the BB it does not sync. If I try add it in Outlook it will show up on the device. I will then open it and add an invite and I will get the red X in the mail with " Unlisted message error".

In the MAGT log I see the following

[40000] (11/20 10:51:33.387):{0xB2C} Starting new CDO helper 013B0C50
[40574] (11/20 10:51:33.559):{0xFBC} CDO helper 013B0C50 started, PID 2360
[30002] (11/20 10:51:34.169):{0xFBC} Server = mail, Mailbox = /o=XXXXXX/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=XXXXX Description = The Microsoft Exchange Server computer is not available. Either there are network problems or the Microsoft Exchange Server computer is down for maintenance. [Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store - [MAPI_E_FAILONEPROVIDER(8004011D)]]
[30180] (11/20 10:51:34.169):{0xFBC} {XXXXX} CDOCalendar::Initialize - Error in call m_spCalendarFolder = m_spCDOSession->GetDefaultFolder
[40000] (11/20 10:51:34.169):{0xFBC} CDO initializing failure in CDO helper 013B0C50 (1)

in the blackberry server config

I can test the sql connection fine logged in as the besadmin
I can successfully click the check name in the blackberry server config app

I have the following files

mail - windows 2008 /exchange 2007 sp2
cdo.ddl
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\Bin 6.5.8131.0
C:\WINDOWS\system32 6.5.8131.0

mapi
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\Bin 1.0.2536.0
C:\WINDOWS\system32 1.0.2536.0

bes - windpws 2003 / bes 5.0 sr3 / exchange management sp2

cdo.ddl
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\Bin 6.5.8131.0
C:\WINDOWS\system32 6.5.8131.0

mapi
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\Bin 1.0.2536.0
C:\WINDOWS\system32 1.0.2536.0

I have registered the CDO file in both the locations on both servers. Rebooted many times and ran the exchange console command to give besadmin the sand as rights. I used to have besadmin in the enterprise admin group and it worked, but I have placed him in domain users only. I have made him a local admin on both servers.

Any other thoughts would be helpful.
