Default BES 5.0 Maint Release 1 available for Exchange and Domino

The following software is now available for download:

* BlackBerry Enterprise Server v5.0 Maintenance Release 1 for Microsoft Exchange
*BlackBerry Enterprise Server v5.0 Maintenance Release 1 for IBM Lotus Domino

Please visit the Blackberry Server Downloads site to access the software update, documentation, and any additional information.

Also available now - BlackBerry Enterprise Server Resource Kit v5.0 Maintenance Release 1. You can find all software packages and documentation here.

And this is why I don't upgrade to the latest version on the day of release - how long has it taken for the first MR to come out....literally minutes?!?!?!?!

Applied MR1 to primary and standby BES this morning. Went smooth.
No reboots required, but rebooted anyway, because that's how I roll.

RIM stated at WES that they would develop two major releases per year, so I would expect SP1 out in the late Fall or early Winter (Q3/Q4). Unless you wanted more detailed information about it, in which case you should already know the high level features they'll be adding into it
