KB05368 - BlackBerry Dispatcher is passing packets larger than 64 KB to the Router
KB05368 - BlackBerry Dispatcher is passing packets larger than 64 KB to the BlackBerry Router
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software version 4.0 Service Pack 4
- SDR89238
Overview
BlackBerry Dispatcher passes a packet larger than 64 KB to the BlackBerry Router. The BlackBerry Router discards these packets, but also momentarily drops the Server Routing Protocol (SRP) connection to the BlackBerry Infrastructure.
The SRP Identifier (SRP ID) attempts to connect again. If the SRP ID attempts to connect five times in under 1 minute, the SRP ID is disabled.
When this issue occurs, the following event appears in the BlackBerry Router (ROUT) log:
[20000] (01/01 12:00:00):{0xC10} [SERVICE_SRP:Sxxxxxx:017abaf8] Too_big, Length: MaxTransferSize: 64000
In the log entry, represents the packet size.
