Overview

<content> The following error is displayed:
Inbox not found for user <username>

Cause

<content> The State Database Folders list for the BlackBerry smartphone user is missing the $Inbox folder (it may also be missing the $Sent and $Drafts).

Resolution

<content> To restore the missing folders, perform the following steps:
  1. Turn wireless reconcile off on the BlackBerry smartphone by selecting Messages > Options > Email reconciliation on the BlackBerry smartphone Home screen.
  2. Delete all folders from the BlackBerry smartphone user's State Database by selecting Edit > Select All > Delete, while the Mail Folders view is open in the State Database.
  3. Turn wireless reconcile back on from the BlackBerry smartphone (Messages > Options > Email reconciliation).
  4. Refresh the State Database by selecting View > Refresh or Click F9.
  5. Verify that the folder list is populated.
  6. Test message flow.
