Overview

Default port number Description
25 The BlackBerry MVS Server uses this port number to communicate with the messaging server.
80 The BlackBerry MVS Notification Service uses this port number to receive Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) requests.
443 The BlackBerry MVS Server uses this port number to receive Hypertext Transfer Protocol over Secure Sockets Layer (HTTPS) requests.
1433 The BlackBerry MVS Server uses this port number to communicate with the BlackBerry MVS database. If the organization's BlackBerry Configuration Database is configured to use the default static port (port 1433), the BlackBerry MVS Server uses this port number to communicate with the BlackBerry Configuration Database.
2004 If the organization uses a NET VX1200™ media gateway, the BlackBerry MVS Server uses this port number to communicate with the media gateway.
3200 The BlackBerry MVS Connection Service uses this port number to communicate with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
5001 The BlackBerry MVS remote console uses this port number to connect to the BlackBerry MVS Notification Service. The remote console can be accessed from the BlackBerry MVS web UI.
5002 The BlackBerry MVS remote console uses this port number to connect to the BlackBerry MVS Session Manager. The remote console can be accessed from the BlackBerry MVS web UI.
5003 The BlackBerry MVS remote console uses this port number to connect to the BlackBerry MVS Call Processor. The remote console can be accessed from the BlackBerry MVS web UI.
5060 The BlackBerry MVS Call Processor uses this port number to communicate with the organization's media gateway.
6060 The BlackBerry MVS Call Processor uses this port number to communicate with the BlackBerry MVS Session Manager.
22023 The BlackBerry MVS Connection Service uses this port number to verify that a connection with the BlackBerry MVS Call Processor is open.
22024 The BlackBerry MVS Call Processor uses this port number to send data messages to the BlackBerry MVS Connection Service.
22025 The BlackBerry MVS Connection Service uses this port number to send data messages to the BlackBerry MVS Call Processor.
