KB18323 - How to verify that the BlackBerry MVS database was created successfully during installation and that the memory limits are set


Environment

  • BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System version 4.6
  • BlackBerry® smartphones



Overview

To verify that the BlackBerry MVS database was created successfully during installation and that the memory limits are set, complete the following steps:
  1. Log in to the Microsoft® SQL Server® and verify that the MVSDB database exists.
  2. In the Microsoft SQL Server management console, right-click the server that contains the MVSDB database.
  3. Select Properties > Memory.
  4. In the Minimum Server Memory field, type 512.
  5. In the Maximum Server Memory field, type 1024.
  6. Click OK.
