Default Script to perform offline database maintenance. (Domino)

I'm working on a script that will perform the recommended domino database maintenance by RIM (KB02207), so far I've got the first part scripted (stopping the domino service), so I've got a ways to go.

I was just wondering if anyone has tried scripting this before.

Hi Steve

If you tell me what kind of domino database maintenance you are going to perform, maybe I can help you.

Good luck trying to get nfixup, nupdall, and ncompact scripted. When running those commands you get prompted to enter the password for the ID file on the system. I haven't found a way to pipe in a password so its automated. But if you do figure it out let me know.

Hhhmm, I do have to ask.. Since I'm not new to windows server but I am new to BES Administration, which databases should I be doing maintenance on?

I know have the state datatbases for each user, the NSF files.

You shouldn't be doing any maintenance to those databases.

You should have this issue only if you have a password on the server.id file.

Here's a short script.

cd \lotus\domino

nfixup bes
nupdall -R bes
ncompact -c bes
nfixup names.nsf
nupdall -R names.nsf
ncompact -c names.nsf
