Dear Port3101 users,
I hope my first post here goes OK - it's always a bit scary!
We joined as a sponsor today, and I would love to pitch my application out there for your review.

Here's our snippet:
ThinkPost offers Exchange customers the ability to sync without BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Originally developed as a simple way for users to sync their BlackBerry with Outlook wirelessly, the software has been adapted to work with MS Exchange.
A simple plugin is installed on the BlackBerry, and on Outlook (which has a connection to Exchange). The plugin will sync contacts/calendar/notes/tasks all wirelessly, at a predefined interval.
While the service is not meant as a BES replacement, it is certainly a powerful stop gap product for power-users who are neither interested in purchasing BES nor spending a premium for a BES plan from their mobile carrier.
However, there are differences between BES and ThinkPost. Sync occurs via an interval, and is not instantaneous (up to a 30 minute delay) and sync does not include email. Other than that, the product is a simple installation and is a cost-effective alternative.
Thank you for your interest!
