BES doesn't have a public IP and shouldn't have any inbound ports open to it on a firewall.

The BlackBerry Router, on the other hand, could potentially be exposed on the internet in your DMZ. In this case, the change in IP address should not matter so long as any special handheld or other interaction to it used FQDN rather than IP address.
