reject security violation

Default reject security violation

I have 5 users with this error in there IT POLICY STATUS.

All 5 users are using the Blackberry 8130 Version 4.3.0.97

Any ideas?

Given that they're all the same device type ... are there any other people with the same device / software version not showing this?

I'd try upgrading the OS to a newer version on one of them if you can.

If possible, could you post the POLC log from your BES after attempting to resend the IT Policy to them (wait at least 30 minutes before posting log)

Two things to try:

1) Wipe and reactivate
2) Upgrade HH OS and then reactivate

Option 2 includes doing option 1 too anyway ...

You can also try sending the default policy again and see if that applies. You could have issues in your policy with that particular handheld version.

I have tried resending the policy. Still is rejecting. I really didn't want to delete the users because they have had these phones for over a year. Thanks for the help.

By the way, it seems to only be affecting 8130 users.

What version of BES? Do you have any devices that are newer than the 8130 on your server? Its possible the device.xml needs to be updated.
