Arrow BES 4.1.7 upgrade to BES 5.0.3 on new hardware - Which Migration path?

Hiya guys,

Im just looking for a bit of advice on the best migration stategy to use.

I have 2500 devices running in a single Blackberry domain and single server (4.1.7), this is running on a Win2003 Clustered server for HA and connected to a SQL 2005 DB.

OK.... so basically I am looking to set up a nice fresh 2008 R2 Member server and install BES 5.0.3 as well as moving the DB to a 2008 SQL DB.....

Which is the best migration path to take?

Knife edge cut over?
In place upgrade?

Any help and pointers to which strategy will have minima impact on end users (ideally none!!!)

Ive had a quick look through the guides but am a little unsure of the exact end user experience.

Thanks in advance!!!

John
