Default BB Carrier Exchange

I am looking into the effects of a carrier switch on a BES enabled BlackBerry. The carrier is technically the same provider, but under an alternate reseller name. So the device's MDN will be ported out, then back in to the new alternate reseller. Since the back end is still the same provider, we know that the device and its data capabilities will work. But I'm not sure what consequences on the RIM/BES side this will have.

Please enlighten me in the foreseen outcome of this situation.

BES should see no issue here at all.
