Default Missing policy setting

Hello
I received a new software update icon on my torch today. I would like to verify on my server that the ISP is NOT allowed to push down this to my users. I checked under my policy Wireless Software Upgrade tab there is no setting - Set the Allow Non Enterprise Upgrade IT policy to Yes.
Running 5.0.2mr3 exchange
Tried creating a new policy and it's still not there

Thanks

did you manually import the Blackberry Playbook policy xml file around the time of its release? if so It can keep some policy options from appearing. Workaround is to re-import the default policies. There's a RIM KB on this issue but sorry I don't have the time to find it at the moment

Hope this helps

Is managing device software via BAS enabled? If it is, the IT policy rule you referenced disappears from all IT policies in your BB domain. The policy disappears and is set to disallow notifications from the BBI and carriers. The policy rule only reappears if you disable managing device software in the BAS.

FYI - In 5.0.2, in addition to this IT policy rule that disappears, the IT policy rules that allows users to manually check for software updates and to perform a roll-back also disappears.
