i was wondering when to complete one kb article over another. I just want the EWS errors to stop. Currently there is no issue with the users calenders syncing.
I did notice three calhelper.exe running and two calhelperws.exe, under task manager.

Do you use EWS in environment? If not, you can disable EWS on the BES so all calendaring will go through CDO/Calhelper instead of EWS/CalhelperWS.

Sorry we are currently running Exchange 2007. I thought EWS gives users the ability to use rpc over https, autodiscover and some calendar features. if that is correct - Yes I have EWS running.

Exchange Web Services is not automatically enabled on Exchange. If you have Exchange 2007 SP1 or higher, you have to go through the steps in KB20157. If you're on BES 5.0.2, you can skip Task 5. EWS is automatically enabled in BES 5.0.2.

The BES checks on an individual basis whether EWS is available. If it's available, EWS is used to access the user's calendar. If not, then it falls back to CDO. To check if EWS is available for a user, open the command prompt and run the EWSTest.exe utility located in the Utility folder (it's in the installation directory).
