We have an issue with our BES not syncing the calendar properly, It was fully tested and wiorking when i deployed it.

Exchange 2010 RU1
BES 5.0.2
CDO/MAPI 6.5.8165

Recently it has started to slow down and now this issue with appointment not syncing from Exchange to the devices.

a couple of server have now been upgraded to SP1 against my reccomendations, but i have made sure all the permissions are OK, and so is the throttling policy, i have re-run both to make sure.

i get the following error repeatedly in Event Viewer;

MailboxManager::TestOpenMsgStore - OpenMsgStore (0x8004011d)

and also this in the MAGT logs;

CDOCalendar::Initialize - Error in call m_spCalendarFolder = m_spCDOSession->GetDefaultFolder

I have google this, searched the RIM KB this forum and others, but nothing seem to help?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Are you still using CDO for calendaring? With Exchange 2010 RU1 and higher, it's recommended that you enable Exchange Web Services. EWS is more efficient than CDO. Take a look at KB 20157 to enable EWS on Exchange. Skip step 5. EWS is already enabled on BES 5.0.2.
