Device not activating with BESX
I have a user switch from 9700 to 9780. Initially, we tried to migrate the device using BlackBerry Desktop but after transferring data, it said that new activation needs to happen from the BES server. I did that and generated the new password but the new device just does not want to be activated. Putting the sim back in the old device works.
So we deleted his account from BES and recreated it but still I cannot get the old or new device now to activate. When I generate an activation email, the user gets the email in their Exchange box. Then when I try to enter the email and password on their device, I can see the network.ept email in their inbox but the device almost immediately gives an error saying bad email/password.
I have even tried creating the activation password instead of generating but still the same issue. What could it be? Going a biit crazy trying to troubleshoot! the BESX server is remote so I can't just plug the unit in USB
