Zenprise
Hello folks. Found some excellent information on your site regarding the UNIX baseline date issue that occasionally shows up in BES call logs and I thought I bounce a question off of the collective wisdom.
We've been looking to expand wireless managment beyond the native abilities of BES and it's been an interesting journey.
While Boxtone offers a delightful product, it's just way too expensive for our needs. In researching other companies, Zenprise was the only other one I could find that offered the same kinds of services that we need. Specifically the remote management and the carrier health monitoring options.
Thing is, their costs are so much lower (for our particular size installation) that it makes me awfully suspicious that there may be something we're missing. Is anyone familiar with Zenprise and have a take on their experience with the company/product?
Further, were you able to find other products in the market that might be comparable to Boxtone/Zenprise?
I looked over:
conceviem
mobileiron
visage mobile
odyssey software
trellia
but they all seem more focussed on getting a handle on total spend across multiple carriers, or managing disparate wireless technolgies. We're fortunate enough to be able to retain total control overuser devices, so that's less of a selling point.
