I have recently upgraded our BB environment from 4.6 to 5.0.2.

No major issues with the upgrade but ever since the upgrade we have been unable to access sametime via blackberry devices.

The Blackberry Collaboration Service starts for about 5 seconds then shuts down.

When I look through the logs it complains of Event ID 15000
Through the BB Logs I get the following message.
com.rim.bes.bas.util.BASCouldNotCompleteRequestRollbackException: findServiceInstanceLocal find imConfig entity returned null for id=2

I have searched through the SQL database and I have found that our sametime id is now 3 (from an old restore it did use to be 2) but I am unable to change this.

In the IMConfig table I have an ID of 3 and all other values are correct.
In the RelationSCIM there is no entry although I have added values but still no luck.

Any advise would be gratefully received.

It looks like you are on the right track here. BAS is looking for 2 in the imConfig table and not finding it.

What are you seeing in the service config table?

To resolve this issue, complete the following steps:

Open the Microsoft SQL Server database to obtain the following information:
Server Config table: Service Name ID
IM Config table: Machine Name ID
In the Relation SCIM table, verify that the Server Config ID and IM Config match the information listed in the Server Config table and IM Config table.
