I have got the known issue whereby I cannot log into my Monitoring console because of the certificate expiry issue that RIM have confirmed.

Now, I'm in the position where I have my monitoring component installed on my Primary BES server, so the fix for this problem looks like a real pain for me, and risky at that.
I do have a second, HA server that I can fail over to, but I was hoping someone who has been through this could advise on how painful it was to remove the monitoring tool? I understand that in order to uninstall it, the process involves removing ALL BES components from my primary server, and then re-installing all of them EXCEPT the Monitoring one.... ?
It has been about 12 months since I built this system, so my memory is hazy as to how long it took to perform a BES Server Software install. I have documentation I took which records the settings I input, but I did not take snapshots of the screens etc. I cant remember for instance if I need to re-enter SRP addresses and so on.
Is there no other way around this apart from removing the monitoring component?
