Is anyone using NeverFail for BES 5.0 HA? I'm looking for advice on how to install SP2 on the Active and Passive BES with NeverFail running. Does SP2 make any changes to the BES DB? Thank you.

I am making plans to do this (install Neverfail on top of BES 5.0.2).
Need to get some clarification on your question(s)...

What's your starting point? are you starting with an earlier BES 5.0 already in a Neverfail pair, and you're wondering how to upgrade this existing setup to 5.0.2? Is your BESMgmt database local or remote?

RE: changes to the BES DB, I'm guessing that yes, 5.0.2 will make changes to the BESMgmt database, this is common with BES service packs. I think it's fair to say every BES service pack has touched the database in the past.

I currently running BES 5.0 in a NeverFail pair and would like to upgrade to 5.02. Upgrading the active BES will be straight forward as the same as upgrading a regular standalone BES 5.0 server. My concern is when I upgrade the passive BES which will be off the network will SP2 fail because it will not be able to communicate with the BESMgmt database which is on a remote SQL server.
