Gentleman,

We are currently seeing in our BES 5.0.2.28 enviroment that our devices are not allowing people to edit the Google Apps settings from "Prompt" to "Allow", this also seems to be the case with "Slacker Radio".

This happens w/ "Default" policy as well as our others that do not touch application controls.

Is there a way I can hard set in my BES the ability to allow end users to be able to set allow, regardless of a potential bug in an app?

Of course we have enabled a "must use device password policy" and this has been the blame running around the office.

This is part of the mess created by the stricter APC for Unlisted apps on BES 5.0 / OS 5.0 combo. The best way I have discovered to handle this is to create a special APC for Unlisted Apps which "Allows All". The create a S/W configuration, with no software inside it, just assign the APCUA above. Then assign this to the problematic users and your problem is solved after the device reboot.
