Default MAC or IP address for devices connected to BES 5 via Wifi

Is there a way to get MAC addresses and/or IP addresses from users that are connected to a network via Wifi using LEAP? I have Monitoring service installed and running but don't seem to have that info. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Leo

Not that I have seen. What are you looking to do ... maybe we can come up with a way to be creative.

In the big picture we are looking for a way to use a certificate authority profile so only the BB's with wifi capabilities we want can connect via wifi to our internal network.

In the interim I was looking for a way to get the IP or MAC addresses for the BB's activated on our BES and compare that list to devices that are connected via wifi on our network. This will help identify who is connected and who is not.

On a side note, I did try to implement a Certificate Authority Profile on our BES (ver 5.0.1 MR2 (Bundle 117) without success. I did follow the admin guide on this and did see the CAP option on my BB but it didn't connect. Any help with the process is appreciated.

Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't think you'll ever get more than the PIN. You can pull IMEI / etc from the DB, but the only thing truly reliable in the logs and confirmed unique will be the PIN

That's a bummer. I thought as much but was hoping for different.

Thanks!
