Default Pushing Apps and security

Iíve been fooling around with pushing apps to our bbís using the ECL (Emergency Contact List) sample as a starting point.

Works fine.

But my question is whatís stopping anyone with a domain account on our system from doing the same? I tried, as an experiment, pushing from a user account without any domain admin privileges and it worked. All they need to know is the name of the BES server, and the push port 8080 (default).

Have we set the security up on our BES wrong?
Is there some setting that has been overlooked?

I don't follow. Have you tested using a regular domain account with no other level of access?

You can secure this through push rules. Haven't played with it in 5.0, but it worked well in 4.1.x
