I have not been able to find much documentation on this but was able to find some posts on here that have been helpful. I have searched and set a device bundle to supported and created a device software configuration. How do I set the Priority from BAS for OS upgrades? Am I correct in assuming the priority sets how soon the device OS pushes out?

In searching for setting priority I've looked under BlackBerry solution management > Software > BlackBerry Device Software but no luck. Please advise.

Priority was removed in 5.0. The device update notification is instant (15 min default delay unless changed) after you assign the software config to the user/group. The user will see a red splat on the software update on the home screen. They have 72 hours to complete the download before it forces itself upon them.

Priority does not identify how quickly it pushes out the software, but rather if there are conflicts between multiple updates which one "wins"

@lion77 You'll have to check the guide above for more detail. Basically the BAS gets the OS's available from the carrier and you choose what to download. In the BAS service you set the shared folder location and then set up software configs on how to push out to devices. I did test this and it does work as described. Depending on how you set up the Software Configs the user can delay the upgrade to a point then it will automatically do it based on a few device criteria.
