Default Setting up users on BES Express for the first time

Hi

First post so hello

This is my first time setting up BES Express and I've done the preinstall tasks (simplified by some useful info on here as the BES install manual is a bit, err, wieldy!), and completed the installation and all appears to be well.

What I'm now unsure of is the process of setting up a new user and linking it to the blackberry, and the activation process. The installation guide doesn't seem to cover it and I've done a search but can't find anything so if anyone can point me to a useful link or give me a quick step by step guide it would be appreciated.

I'm reasonably experienced with exchange and windows mobile devices but this is my first foray into the world of blackberry devices and BES.

Platform is SBS2003

Thanks in advance.

Use the BAS to add each user. Then get them to plug their BB devices into their own PC/laptop and browse using internet explorer to the web desktop manager - they may need to add the URL to the trusted sites list. Web desktop manager uses an ActiveX control to facilitate communication between the BB device connected to the local PC and the BES itself. When this connection is in place the activation process begins automatically.
