We are facing an unusual problem with the BES while upgrading the application from version 1.0.31 to 1.0.32.

Application details:

Size: 900 KB
Module cod files: 29

BES setting details:
MDS KB/connection: 128

Issue: while upgrading the application from 1.0.31 to 1.0.32 the previous version (1.0.31) gets deleted & upgrade version doesnt get installed. Also on the BES status shows install required after some time.

The unusual thing is the 1st version of the vendor app - 1.0.26 was approx 900 KB and was pushed successfully. Thereafter we upgraded the application till version 1.0.31 successfully.

Any help will be appreciated.

Have you tried to update using Desktop Manager? Does it work?

I ran into this same problem. Way around it was to set the old version as disallowed and then push the new version.

Setting to disallowed forces removal of the old app, while the software config with the new version will install the new one.

This happens only on some applications, but testing the upgrade in Desktop Manager is always a sure thing to determine the outcome.
