Let me give you a little background before I get into it current problem. We have about 15 BlackBerry users here and a BES 4.1 for our exchange server. We decided that instead of Exchange, we would be using Google Apps for our email needs. I got an evaluation version of BES 4.1 and installed the Google Apps connector and then set everybody up on that temporary server. During the 90 day trial period, I uninstalled the Exchange 2003 server role and reinstalled the BES server from the previous machine, making sure to write down the CALs and SRP ID. Somehow I lost the sticky note with the SRP ID and key on it

, but I was able to pull those off of a backup of the old BES Exchange Database from the MSSQL server.
During reinstallation of the BES, I came to the point where I type in my SRP ID and key and I got an error message stating: Invalid SRP KEY or ID. Warning: Incorrect authentication key specified.
So I am here to ask, during the life of the old BES for exchange, could the SRP KEY have changed from its original? I ask because I'm not sure if this is the most recent backup of the BES exchange database.

Is the SRP key in the database unencrypted? The company does not have a subscription for BlackBerry support, so if I need to recover this SRP key, is there anyone I can call or ask for support without paying the $249 fee for this "incident"?
