Default Disable email re-direction during off hours?

I recieved the following question from Management:

"can we restrict sending email via BB to select clients after
business hours, in an effort to promote work-life balance"

The only thing I can think of is to create a script to disable redirection during the off hours and to re-enable it during on hours.

Any other ideas / thoughts would be greatly appreciated...

Natbesadmin.

You've identified the only way to do it.

Create a script and use the BESUserAdminClient to enable/disable it if it is required.

I submitted a feature enhancement about 2 years ago requesting the ability to automatically disable & enable redirection based on date/time. I thought it would be a nice feature for when staff go on leave & forget to disable redirection on the device when they leave & then forget to enable it when they return from leave. It would help reduce the number of pending messages queuing up on the servers.

I'm still waiting.

I am working with a group trying to get their "badge swipe" script which automatically adjusts IT policy based on swipes in and out of buildings. It should be able to be modified.
