Default Bes 5.0 sp1

Are Tsupport customers able to download this yet? If so, where would it be found?

I checked a few minutes ago, and it's not available for me.
I'm only on Tx2 however. It might be available to larger shops with higher support level agreements.

Contact your account manager, (s)he should be able to provide you with a download link.

I guess that is my question. Are accounts with a SAM the only ones who can download now?

You got a valid T-Support agreement? Then raise a call with them and ask for BES 5.0 SP1.

It is not available to anyone without opening a support case and being provided with an FTP login to download the software (depending on your contract, you may receive the information or you may not). Nevertheless, the general availability date should be fairly soon.

BES 5.0 SP1 for Exchange is now publicly available as of today.
(But don't download it until I'm done. We all know RIM's servers can't efficiently handle more than 1 download at a time. )

Actually, here lately, things are MUCH better. I've been downloading from RIM at 1MB/s to 12MB/s for the last month or so. I really like the upgrade they did (or maybe routing changed, but I believe they're now hosting everything on EdgeSuite/Akamai).
