I am in the process of installing our first BES server (5.0 on windows 2008). I installed our first server on our internal network and installed the router in our DMZ.

I am now at the step of enabling the remote router. In order to do that I have to edit a registry key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Research In Motion\BlackBerryRouter.

My problem is that I do not have that registry entry on any of my servers. The one on the internal network or the one in the dmz.

I am missing the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Research In Motion" key all together.

Anybody else experience this.

Router in DMZ setup is not supported until 5.0 SP1.

Since when? The DMZ-based router configuration is supported in 5.0, but you have to have SQL connectivity during the installation. In SP1, it will be back to the 4.x standards with no SQL connectivity.
