If you happened to just receive a ton of 'spam' from the site, I apologize about the inconvenience. I approved a ton of pending LinkBacks on the site (dating back to January) and it seems that the option to notify the owner (default) triggered a ton of emails being sent.

This simply means you have a popular thread that has been linked to and/or referenced by another forum or website or blog that is enabled for 'pings' (this is what makes the 'world go round' in the modern socially interactive Web 2.0).

Needless to say, this rule has been disabled for any future approvals. Again, I apologize about the inconvenience this may have caused you or your Inbox.
