Default BES with 2 Child Domains

Does anyone run a configuration of a BES with 2 Child Domains? We have our BES 4.1.6 in one domain (Domain A) along with a bulk of the users, however we have a 2nd domain (Domain B) where 10% of our users reside.

I am trying to enable LDAP lookup (View Document). I am setting the LDAPDomain key to a Load Balanced VIP in the same child domain as our BES (Domain A) using the GC port (3268). It successfully resolves users in Domain A however it's not finding users in Domain B (resulting in users in domain A not being able to perform a lookup on users on Domain B on their devices). If it's a GC call, shouldn't it go out and find it anyway? Is there any way to modify the SearchDN it's using to correct this?

If anyone has any experience with the LDAP keys or with multiple child domains and BES i would appreciate any insight you can provide.

In order for an ldap query to be aware of users in other domains you need to query a Global Catalog server.
e.g.

Ldap://ParentGC.rootdomain.net:389
DC=rootdomian,DC=net
User/pass of an account in the root domain

or (forces a search)

ldap://childdomian.rootdomain.net:3268
DC=rootdomian,DC=net
user/pass of the BES Account in the Child domain

This is from a BES 5 environment, so not sure how to translate to 4.1
