Default Owner name via AD attribute?

Does anyone know if it is possible to set the device owner name by somehow populating that field with the users name attribute from AD? Is their a variable that I can use? Can it be done?

Thanks.

Not possible.

Only way to do it would be to create a unique IT Policy for each user.

Could this in theory be done with a sql query to AD? Giant PITA and well beyond my scripting level.

If you can figure out a way to translate it to the blob data in the sql database as a new IT Policy; sure.
