KB05106 - How to create a blank IT policy on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server

Overview

A blank IT policy can be sent to the BlackBerry smartphone to update an existing IT policy setting. This is useful when transferring a BlackBerry smartphone user account from one BlackBerry Enterprise Server to another.
To create a blank IT policy, perform the following:

1. Open BlackBerry Manager, and then BlackBerry Domain.
2. In the Global tab , click Edit Properties.
3. Click IT Policy.
4. In the IT Policy Administration section, double-click IT Policies.
5. Click New.
6. Double-click IT Policy Name.
7. Type a name for the new IT policy.
