KB15216 - Maximum value for the HTTP Authentication Timeout setting
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server version 4.0.x and 4.1.x
Overview
For BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.0.x, the HTTP Authentication Timeout setting can be found at the following location:
Mobile data services properties > HTTP > Authentication Timeout.
For BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.1.x, the HTTP Authentication Timeout setting can be found at the following location:
MDS-CS > Edit Properties > HTTP > Authentication Timeout
Set the Support HTTP Authentication setting to True to store authentication information and perform HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) authentication on behalf of BlackBerry smartphones.
You can then set the Authentication Timeout period. The default value is one hour (3600000 milliseconds). The maximum value allowed for the authentication timeout is 24 hours (86400000 miliseconds).
