Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software version 2.2 IBM® Lotus® Domino®
- BlacBerry Enterprise Server
- Lotus Domino
Overview
The BlackBerry Mobile Data Service log for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 2.2 displays one or both of the following errors:
Caught exception while saving statistics:[Lotus][ODBC Lotus Notes]Your Address Book does not contain any cross certificates capable of authenticating the server.
OR
Error retrieving config data from database due to net.rim.shared.management.ManagementException:[Lotus][ODBC Lotus Notes]Your Address Book does not contain any cross certificates capable of authenticating the server.
Cause
The Notes ID file (used by BlackBerry Mobile Data Service) is unable to access either the BBDIR.nsf or BBSTAT.nsf files. The Notes ID file does not contain a certificate capable of authenticating with the BlackBerry Mobile Data Service on which the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is installed.
Resolution
Cross-certify the Notes ID file with a certificate used within the Domino Domain of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
Note: Refer to the Domino Administrator Help file for information on how to cross-certify the Notes ID file.
