KB17007 - No option for Wireless Upgrade found on the BlackBerry

Overview

There is no option called Wireless Upgrade found within the Options -> Advanced Options menu on a BlackBerry smartphone.

Cause

This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.

Workaround

Complete the following steps to attempt to restore the Wireless Upgrade option.

1. From the home screen, select Options.
2. Select Advanced Options.
3. Select Service Book.
4. Find and highlight the service book called Provisioning[OTASL].
5. Select the menu button and choose Delete.
6. After confirming the service book is no longer listed, select the menu button again and choose Undelete.
7. Exit to the home screen.
8. Wait a minute or two and then check for the Wireless Upgrade option found under Options -> Advanced Options.
