Problem
Note: The Contacts application is known as the Address Book application in BlackBerry Device® Software 4.5 and earlier.
Address Book contacts entered on the BlackBerry smartphone prior to activation do not synchronize wirelessly. Replication or synchronization of the Address Book is functioning correctly in IBM® Lotus Notes® and there are no duplicate contacts on the BlackBerry smartphone.
Cause
This issue may occur when database indexes are corrupted.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, re-sort the BlackBerry smartphone Address Book by First Name, Last Name and Company. The
Sort By option can be found in the Options area of the Address Book application.
