KB15921 - Unlisted Message Error occurs when sending or replying to an email message from the BlackBerry smartphone
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server version 4.1 for Novell® GroupWise®
- Novell® GroupWise® Client
- SDR201548
Overview
When sending a new email message or replying to an existing email message, a red X appears on the BlackBerry smartphone along with the following error:
Unlisted Message Error
Note: The email message is delivered to the intended recipient(s).
Cause
This issue can occur when the Create a sent item to track information option is not selected in the Novell GroupWise Client, as shown in the following image:
Resolution
This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
Workaround
To work around this issue, select the Create a sent item to track information option in the BlackBerry smartphone user's Novell GroupWise Client. This can be found in Tools > Options > Send (icon) > Mail (tab).
Once this setting is changed, restart the BlackBerry Controller.
Important: Restarting certain BlackBerry Enterprise Server services will delay email message delivery to BlackBerry smartphones. For more information, see KB04789.
