KB03060 - How to identify which Novell GroupWise address book is synchronized with the BlackBerry smartphone using BlackBerry Desktop Manager
Environment
- BlackBerry® Desktop Manager 4.0 and 4.1
- BlackBerry smartphones
- Novell® GroupWise®
Overview
To identify which Novell GroupWise address book is synchronized with the BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps:
- In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, open Intellisync. Click Configure PIM.
- On the Handheld Configuration screen, click Choose. The Choose Translator screen opens.
- In the Available Translators list, select GroupWise. Click OK. Close the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
- Click Start > Search > For Files or Folder.
- Search for the ilxgwise.cfg file and open it in Notepad.
- Find the DoFolders entry and change its value from 0 to a value that corresponds to the number of address books being synchronized. For example, if you synchronize two address books, the value of DoFolders is DoFolders = 2.
- Find the DoFolderList entry and change its value from Blank to the names of the synchronized address books separated by semicolons.
For example, if you synchronize two address books, the value of DoFolderList is DoFolderList = Addressbook1; Addressbook2.
- Save and close the ilxgwise.cfg file.
