KB11741 - "Inbox not found for user " error message
Environment
Overview
The following error is displayed: Inbox not found for user
Cause
The State Database Folders list for the BlackBerry smartphone user is missing the $Inbox folder (it may also be missing the $Sent and $Drafts).
Resolution
To restore the missing folders, perform the following steps:
- Turn wireless reconcile off on the BlackBerry smartphone by selecting Messages > Options > Email reconciliation on the BlackBerry smartphone Home screen.
- Delete all folders from the BlackBerry smartphone user's State Database by selecting Edit > Select All > Delete, while the Mail Folders view is open in the State Database.
- Turn wireless reconcile back on from the BlackBerry smartphone (Messages > Options > Email reconciliation).
- Refresh the State Database by selecting View > Refresh or Click F9.
- Verify that the folder list is populated.
- Test message flow.
Additional Information
The BlackBerry smartphone user will be unable to send any email.
