- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server for Microsoft® Exchange
- BlackBerry® smartphones

Overview
When a meeting request is accepted or declined on the BlackBerry smartphone, the BlackBerry Enterprise Server records an OpenEntry failure in the log, as shown below:
[40405] (10/01 08:15:40):{0x924}{ex1mary@dmw2k03.sqa.rim.net} *** MAPI *** MAPIMailbox::HandleObjectModifiedNotification - OpenEntry (0x8004010f) failed.
However, the meeting is accepted or declined correctly.
The BlackBerry Enterprise Server marks an invitation to indicate it has been read and processed, then sends notification to the Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) event handler. However, the BlackBerry Enterprise Server has already moved the invitation to the Deleted Items folder. The MAPI event handler is not able to open the object because it has already been deleted.
