KB17345 - Unable to expand distribution lists using BlackBerry Client for use with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007

Overview
The BlackBerry Client for use with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 is unable to expand distribution lists on BlackBerry smartphones. The same distribution list can be expanded on a computer using Microsoft Office Communicator.
Cause
The BlackBerry Collaboration Service uses the same method of accessing the Microsoft Office Communications Server as Communicator Web Access. This method of accessing the Microsoft Office Communications Server does not support the expansion of distribution lists.
Resolution
This is by design.
