KB19234 - Error "5408" occurs when starting the BlackBerry Dispatcher service
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server version 5.0
Overview
When running a trial version of BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 5.0, the BlackBerry Dispatcher service stops. Attempting to start the BlackBerry Dispatcher service results in Error 5408.
Cause
The temporary Server Router Protocol (SRP) identifier and Client Access License (CAL) supplied with the temporary BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 5.0 have reached their expiration date.
Resolution
Purchase the full version of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 5.0 with a full Client Access License.
