KB18566 - SRP is disconnected after upgrading to BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0
KB18566 - SRP is disconnected after upgrading to BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 5.0
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server 5.0
- Remote BlackBerry Router using a non-standard port
- SDR354215
Overview
After upgrading the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software to version 5.0, the Server Routing Protocol (SRP) status is showing disconnected.
Cause
A remote BlackBerry Router using a non-standard port will lose its configuration settings after the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software is upgraded to version 5.0.
Resolution
- In the BlackBerry Administration Service under Servers and Components:
- Select BlackBerry Solution Topology.
- Select BlackBerry Domain.
- Select Component View.
- Select BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
- Select BES name.
- Select Edit Instance.
- Modify the SRP Addresses and Port Override to the correct remote router settings.
Additional Information
This will only affect remote BlackBerry Routers that are using non-standard ports. If a default port is used, then the router settings are retained during the BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 5.0 upgrade.
