KB11751 - Invalid properties in message service table
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server
- Microsoft® Exchange
Overview
The following error message appears when trying to open Edit Mapi Profile from the BlackBerry Enterprise Server:
Error: Invalid properties in message service table
Cause
The Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) profile is corrupt.
Resolution
Important: Restarting BlackBerry Enterprise Server services will delay message delivery to BlackBerry devices. For more information, see KB04789.
Warning: The following procedure involves modifying the computer registry. This can cause substantial damage to the Microsoft Windows® operating system. Document and back up the registry entries prior to implementing any changes.
To resolve the error, perform the following steps:
- Stop all BlackBerry services.
- Open Microsoft Windows Services. To do this, go to Control Panel and select Administrative Tools > Services.
- Stop each service that has a name that begins with BlackBerry.
- Open the registry editor and locate the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\
- Delete all profiles within this registry key and close the registry editor.
- Open the Exchange System Manager.
- Open BlackBerry Manager.
- Go to Start > Programs > BlackBerry Enterprise Server > Edit Mapi Profile.
- Start the BlackBerry services.
