Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server
Overview
Some contact entries do not synchronize wirelessly with the contact list on a BlackBerry smartphone.
Paired log entries in the Messaging Agent (MAGT) log file show the unique ID of the contact (Address Book) entry and the affected BlackBerry smartphone user.
Example: [40000] (06/02 00:03:27.053):{0xF34} Address Book, checking updated document 43991CF4B082ADA0C12574E6002EF6D1 for user CN=Test User/O=TEST
[30000] (06/02 00:03:27.053):{0xF34} {CN=Test User/O=TEST} Record 0x9060A incompatible to device (lacks key fields), and will not be syned
Cause
When required key fields for a contact are empty, the contact cannot be synchronized with the contact list on the BlackBerry smartphone.
The required key fields are:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Company Name
Resolution
Enter the missing contact information in the required key fields.
